The St. Olaf College Emerging Artist Program offers recent graduates an intensive post-graduate studio experience, supporting professional development and the creation of new work. Selected artists receive studio space, a materials stipend, and mentorship while contributing to the campus art community.

The Emerging Artist Showcase at Q.arma Gallery will run May 2–9, 2026, featuring dynamic new work by this year’s cohort. An opening reception will be held on May 2, from 6–8pm, celebrating the artists and their accomplishments.

This exhibition highlights the creativity and evolving practices of emerging visual artists as they advance their work beyond the college environment.
